The Knowledge Hub of RASTA is designed as a forward-looking platform where research aligns with real policy priorities. It curates a diverse body of work, including academic studies, policy analyses, and practitioner perspectives, to create a resource that is both relevant and practical. The focus is not only on generating knowledge, but on ensuring it reaches and informs those involved in shaping policy and development outcomes.
Insights & Expert Exchange
RASTA Xp serves as a dynamic platform that brings together public policy experts, practitioners, academics, and professionals to exchange ideas, share insights, and contribute to evidence-based policymaking in Pakistan. It is designed to foster meaningful dialogue and bridge the gap between research and policy implementation.
Through a range of activities, including expert talks, panel discussions, interviews, and webinars, this platform addresses pressing public policy challenges facing the country. These engagements feature distinguished panelists who provide practical guidance on key aspects of the research process, including formulating impactful research questions, developing strong proposals, preparing budget estimates, and effectively planning and executing both desk-based and field research.
RASTA COMMUNITY NETWORK
Following its successful launch in October 2020 at the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, the RASTA initiative has continued to expand rapidly. In alignment with its core objectives, particularly strengthening Pakistan’s local knowledge ecosystem, RASTA has developed a dynamic, multi-disciplinary platform known as the RASTA Community Network.
This network brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, academicians, graduate and postgraduate students, as well as observers from both the public and private sectors. Its primary aim is to foster collaboration, encourage meaningful dialogue, and promote evidence-based public policy discussions. By connecting diverse stakeholders, the network seeks to bridge the gap between research and policy-making in Pakistan.
Individuals interested in becoming part of the RASTA Community Network can apply by completing the RASTA Form C-1 and send it to rasta@rasta.pide.org.pk. Membership is open to all and free of charge.
